Liz Lemmon Talks About Peeta In ’30 Rock’!

Josh Hutcherson Dishes On Playing Peeta

TeenHollywood.com interviewed our boy with the bread, and Josh talked about auditioning for the role of Peeta:

TeenHollywood: Very cool. We hear you were a big fan of the novels and really had your heart set on playing Peeta.

Josh:  Yeah. I said out loud that if I didn’t get that role, I didn’t know what I was gonna do. I had no idea. I was gonna keep acting but I never read a role that I connected with as much and that I felt like I was more right for in my life, so if I didn’t get it then I was like “Well, am I just a bad actor then?” Because Peeta is so much who I am how can I not play myself? 

Josh is melting our hearts.  But, wait, there’s more!

TeenHollywood: Why did you connect so much with the Peeta character?

Josh: For me, Peeta has a very strong belief that no matter what circumstance you’re in, you have to maintain who you are as a person and stay true to yourself and that’s my biggest moral as a human being. As well as he has a very self-deprecating sense of humor and he’s good at communicating with people. I felt like his voice and his overall existence was very much who I was.

The Hunger Games Cookbook... Really?

Oh the irony.

In the latest bit of ridiculousness that is Hunger Games related gear, is the Hunger Games cookbook where you too can cook your own Groosling and Lamb Stew like the coal miners from District 12.

There are more than 150 recipes including Rue's roasted parsnips and French bread from the Mellark family bakery.

Yup, it's real, folks.  Hopefully there's no recipes with special berries....

Josh Hutcherson chats with MTV News about "The Hunger Games" where he says that he's most like Peeta, he's good at building forts, and got some cuts and bruises during filming.

Today's Strangest Yet Oddly Cool 'Hunger Games' Dolls

Okay, we're a bit beside ourselves.  We can't quite reconcile our feelings towards these miniature "Hunger Games" sculpture pendants of Peeta and Katniss.  We kinda love them.

And then there are these, which feel a little more like Voodoo dolls of Peeta, Katniss and Gale.  Yes they are creepy.  Yet, they still oddly appeal to us...

Jennifer Lawrence Will Announce Oscar Nominees!

That's right! The Oscars is picking up on the Hunger Games hype, and have asked Jennifer Lawrence to join Academy President Tom Sherak to announce the nominees on Tuesday January 24!

According to the release:

Sherak and Lawrence will unveil the nominations in 10 of the 24 categories at a 5:30 a.m. PT news conference at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

Elizabeth Banks' Lucky Magazine Cover

"The Hunger Games" Elizabeth Banks appeared on the cover of Lucky Magazine, sadly not with pink hair. The awesome actress talks surrogacy, and her son. And apparently, according to Elizabeth:

“I am the least looked-after I’ve been in quite some time,” Banks says, with a grin. “Normally for photo shoots I get a full wax, some tanning, a facial. But this time I’ve done nothing.”

We don't know what she's talking about. She looks beyond great to us!
