EW's First Look At 'Hunger Games' Men

We here at Team Peeta have two words for this. Team. Peeta.

EW released this awesome cover of Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark (swoon) and that other guy, Liam Hemsworth as Gale. We're not biased or anything.

According to the teaser article:

We sat down with Josh Hutcherson, the 18-year-old actor whom director Gary Ross fought hard to cast as the deeply decent Peeta Mellark, at a cozy diner in Asheville, NC, where The Hunger Games shoot was mid-way through filming. His hair was dyed blonde; his newly pumped-up biceps could believably belong to that of a baker's son. And while Hutcherson  (The Kids Are All Right) understands fans' hand-wringing online, he's here to assure you that Lawrence will not in fact tower over him on screen. "Jennifer's not two feet taller than me!" he says with his easy laugh. "If anything, maybe she's a half inch taller." And Ross assures devotees of the books that 21-year-old Liam Hemsworth, who'll play Katniss' righteous childhood confidante Gale, is more than just some Australian beefcake who starred in Miley Cyrus' last movie. "On first glance he's such a hunk that it's easy to just sort of ascribe a hunk-like simplicity to him," says the director. "But this is a phenomenally subtle actor."

Jennifer Lawrence To Sing In ‘Hunger Games’?

Jennifer Lawrence is rumored to be belting out some tunes in “The Hunger Games”!

According to Perez, Jennifer has been in the studio recording original music for the movie with producer T. Bone Burnett:
T. Bone brought actress Jennifer Lawrence in to sing a haunting song he had written. The day they came in was the first day of shooting for the film but T. Bone had been working on the music for some time. If the music is any indication of how the movie is going to turn out, it’s going to be fantastic.
Team Peeta cannot wait to hear Katniss belt out a tune or two. What do you think? Are you looking forward to hearing Jennifer sing?

'The Hunger Games' Won't Be At Comic-Con

Sadly, it’s true. “The Hunger Games” won’t be appearing at this year’s Comic-Con .

Lionsgate confirmed that HG won’t be setting up a panel at the big Hall H presentation, according to the  LA Times.

Apparently the strict filming of the stars in North Carolina has made Comic-Con appearances a no-go.

Chime in! Will you still go to Comic-Con to dress up and get a chance to see Angelina Jolie?

Lenny Kravitz On Jennifer Lawrence: 'This Girl Is For Real'

CNN sat down with Lenny Kravitz who Gary Ross cast as Cinna in "The Hunger Games" and he sounds pretty excited at the upcoming hoopla!
CNN: And speaking of your acting experiences, you've been cast as Cinna in "The Hunger Games." Have you read the books?
Kravitz: Of course. I'm really excited to be in it. I'm really anxious to see how they put this whole world together because if you've read the books you know the world is quite fantastical and amazing, the Capitol and the Arena.
CNN: I am a Katniss fan, of course, but Cinna feels like the heart of the series.
Kravitz: It's funny, a lot of people say that. Why do you say that?
CNN: Because he's got Katniss' back. He's very supportive, but he's also really subversive.
Kravitz: That's why ["Hunger Games" director] Gary Ross called me; because he said he'd seen Precious and he liked how I underplayed the character. It's not a similar role, but in a sense it's got a similar quality because [Nurse John] was the only backup for ["Precious"].
Lenny also talks about Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss:
CNN: Have you met Jennifer Lawrence?
Kravitz: Yes, I know her actually because she did "X-Men: First Class" with my daughter, [Zoƫ Kravitz], so she spent a lot of time in my house in Paris when they were filming in London. That was another thing about casting me: [Ross] said, I heard that Jennifer was in your house all summer and that you were taking care of the kids and they were cooking. I had the whole cast, like six, seven kids in my house on the movie so I got to know all of them before I had even seen them in action. So Jennifer and I ended up becoming friendly. She's really sweet. And then I saw her in "Winter's Bone" and I was like, "Oh, wow. This girl is for real."
